This week I treated my business and myself to a new easy-up tent. It's white! It has sides that actually fit and zip closed at night! It's an exact 10'x10'! It's heavy but takes up less room in the van!...Yes I need to make a set of weights for the places I can't stake, but I am very happy with it so far as I head into my season of weekly shows. (To know where I'm at check my store weekly http://mulchandmore.etsy.com/
The new tent pictures ended up first, but you really wanted to see them first anyway:) You can see how much more I can display (and I still have 3 totes of yarn that I couldn't fit out so need to do a little more display tweaking) Each show is set up a little differently anyways because of traffic flow and sun (candles and soap need to be shaded) so it's always a work in progress.
That looks like the tent I bought and I just love it! It takes 2 of us to put it up...but it looks awesome. I don't have sides yet, but plan to get them. Congrats on the tent and good luck with the shows!
ReplyDeleteomg look at all that delicious yarn!! hey do you have a louet S10? my mom just gave me her spinning wheel and it is a louet s10 and it looks like yours!!!!
ReplyDeleteYes HanamiGallery, that is my louet s-10, I've had it for over 25 years and just replaced the first part on it last summer(the footman connector) My drive band was spliced by a friend from treadle sewing machine belting and is almost as old as the wheel. I love the way it travels and spins.
ReplyDeleteKathy, yes my directions say 2 people also but I am learning it can be done with one (or a helpful neighbor:) but I do need to carry a stepstool to raise and lower the sides.
I'm not doing a craft show until December but this is giving me some great ideas, thanks for posting the pics!
ReplyDeleteReally a nice set up.

Oh gosh, aren't the white pop-up tents wonderful? That was my first major expenditure when I started doing shows, and it was worth every penny. =)
